Shadow of the Moon

Since some of you were asking about this in class, here's an image of the shadow of the Moon on the Earth during a total solar eclipse. It moves at 1,200 mph across the Earth. For comparison, the SR-71 Blackbird flew at 2,220 mph. (Usain Bolt's best speed iis only 23 miles per hour.)
